A mechanical engineer with over 14 years of experience in Quality control / Assurance, supplier development / Audit and Raw-material development. Started career in L&T Electrical & Automation, Metering & protection systems and continuing in MPS till date.Worked core in the areas of "Component Incoming inspection", "First samples approval", "Plastic material testing", "Supplier Qualification / Audits / development" and "specialist in problem solving" related to component manufacturing and assembly. Now heading the Mechanical Quality Team at Metering & protection Systems - Schneider Electric.Having deep understanding on the manufacturing processes such as injection Molding, Sheet metal, Plastic raw-material manufacturing, Electro plating, Fasteners manufacturing and so on.A certified Six-Sigma Green belt practitioner for over 8 years and now ELITE coordinator for MPS under Six-Sigma initiatives. Completed more than 8 Six-Sigma projects as lead and guided few.Initiated and actively worked for the new / alternative materials development which resulted in noticeable cost saving in the recent years and impacted for the existing and new orders.Won multiple awards in regional and national level competition in Six-Sigma (CII / ISI / CCQC). CHARISMA winner and AIMA -All India management Association organized "Young manager of the year" competition winner in the regional level.Core team member of IMC (Indian merchants chamber) - Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award application and assessment process and instrumental in winning Performance Excellence Award. Also, certified assessor for IMC - RBNQA. Innovation lead at MPS (iP3 initiative).Visionary, Highly motivated, Self driven.  My Career statement:I will be a part of "New business development - Strategy" team in next five years. To do so, I will undergo appropriate technical and behavioral trainings and engage myself more in the supplier development process to gain more practical knowledge and hands-on experience. In this process of developing my skills, at present I see myself half way through as I am part of a company level Innovation program, Business level competitions / awards, on role of supplier development - Quality and so on.
