At Jana Urban Services for Transformation, I have closely worked with 7 Regional Managers across 16 cities covering 68 Jana Pragati Centres, to ensure desired output with regard to social programs (Developing sustainable model through community participation, Skilling, Health, Education & Awareness activities ) and special initiatives such as mega events. I was part of core team in developing the concept and sustainable model for community connect vertical initiated in 2013. In addition, I also manage Field Survey Vertical for JUST (budgeting, planning, reporting etc.,), Jana Vidya Sethu – Scholarship program for Jana Urban Foundation and Founder’s Giving fund processing dedicated to support needy children’s education and health. I have been with Jana Group since January 2013 and have successfully completed various assignments. The remarkable ones are, Interview, transcription and end to end coordination for publishing Dalit stories from the streets and slums of Bengaluru - I’ve Gone into the Forest and Wrestled with the Lion, published by Jana Urban Foundation in 2014, (http://www.janafoundation.org/downloads/), developing and testing multi-pronged family assessment tool and integrating with individual loan business of Janalakshmi Financial Services, testing daily savings concept for short term goals, developing community based organizations for sustainability of initiatives, heading most challenging field survey projects, developing community recruitment model (to fulfil JFS’s hiring requirements from the customer community).

Programme Development, Monitoring, ReportingFirst 12 years of my career, I was associated with Christ University – Centre for Social Action (CSA) and have worked in different capacities and various developmental projects. In July 2000, started my career as Field Officer for urban projects. Handled child sponsorship program, Non Formal Education Centres, National Child Labor Project, Housing and Toilet Construction, Skilling, Self Help Groups, Solid Waste Management Project, Student Cultural Exchange Programs, etc., As project officer, managed Child Focused Community Development Project (CFCD) In rural and tribal areas of Adilabad Dist. (Telangana) & Chandrapur Dist. (Maharashtra). The CFCD projects were comprehensive, with the child as focus, aimed at holistic development of community. Antenatal care, Postnatal care, Early Childhood Care, School Education, Skilling, On-farm and Off-farm livelihood / Income Generation Activity promotion, Community Based Organizations such as youth groups, women Self-Help Groups, Common Interest Group, Children Parliament, Village Education Committees, Village Development Committees, were implemented with sustainable approach. At Christ University, I was also a core team member of the dept., and was involved in vision building exercise, holding PRAs, Baseline survey, project evaluation etc., Also, initiated street theatre for volunteers of Christ University CSA, facilitated rural exposure camps for students of Christ University, facilitated Kannada classes for cultural exchange program students from Norway and Sweden.
