I am an environmental specialist and policy strategist with demonstrated leadership in policy research & analysis, advocacy, project development, implementation and monitoring related to climate adaptation & mitigation, resource efficiency, waste management, rural and urban environmental resilience. As a Policy Leader Fellow in the European University Institute, my work focuses on integrating resource efficiency for climate mitigation and aligning waste management policies with the Paris Agreement.I have 12+ years of experience in: a) pioneering policy research, analysis and publications, b) programmatic design and project implementation across international & national organisations/ think-tanks sponsored by Bilateral and Multilateral donors, Governments & Corporates, c) advocacy, partnership building, and stakeholder engagement with policymakers, government agencies, industries, academicians, civil society, d) development of communication and education products, including policy briefs, research articles/reports, success stories, DPRs, best practices, blogs, website content, campaign & IEC materials, e) public speaking & moderating policy dialoguesI have deeply engaged with and/or authored groundbreaking policy research on relevant topics, ranging from formulation of district climate mitigation action plans to battery, bio-medical and e-waste management to microplastics pollution – all of which are influencing evolving policies.
