• Demonstrates competency in the calibration of software and carries out the metrics and mathematical conversions required to obtain desired and specified final product• Performing basic lines of modifications in programs and reading blueprints• Adjust programs feed and speed to increase efficiency while transferring from machine to machine, and upload to DNC• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

• Log all procedures as dictated by plating specifications in corresponding logbook including electroplating, passivation, and pickling; calculate surface area of parts to be plated or cleaned and apply current density according to the plating specifications• Operate measuring devices, including micrometers, dial gauges, etc. Read and understand processsheet/blueprint• Perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute percentages, area, circumference, and volume; draw and interpret bar graphs• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures and equipment, OSHA regulations, manufacturing methods, routings, and standards
