I have global responsibility for brand experience implementing and scaling their use of Transparency. This includes best practices for implementing Transparency codes on brands product packaging, enabling our global teams and building our 3rd party Transparency Service Provider (TSP) network.Amazon.com launched a new SaaS called Transparency in 2017 enabling brands to proactively prevent counterfeit goods from entering the supply chain - a game changer for the global retail industry. An item-level serialization and authentication service, Transparency allows brands to associate each unit they manufacture with a unique code issued by Amazon. Amazon scans these codes to prevent counterfeit products from being shipped to customers. Customers have the ability to scan and confirm authenticity of the products with the Amazon or Transparency mobile app, regardless of where the products were purchased.
