The A. Scott Taylor Visiting Professorship has enabled me to engage in the Faculty of Engineering’s research activities related to engineering education and in particular, enhancing learning and teaching in engineering education at McGill and beyond. You guessed it, I will be looking at GenAI and its applications in augmenting colleagues and student learning experience. After meeting A Scott Taylor, I was inspired to travel across Canada and USA to make new and productive connections with researchers in US and Canada.

Google commendation in 2010 for use of Google Apps for Exam revision (Examopedia). Cambridge University project and other HEA funded projects mention Examopedia work. UPSU Teaching awards 2017 and 2018.>>Technology Enhanced learning - Active promotion of pedagogical use of technology (not techno-positivism) tools including Google Apps for teaching and learning within the university and various internal committees.

Deliver and evaluate faculty wide teaching and learning initiatives.Worked on institutional change management projects:>>Worked in a small Institutional team of 5 innovative thinkers assigned the task of evaluation and selection of the new institutional VLE.>>Sole academic expert in the board responsible for the roll out of Google mail within the University of Portsmouth. Helped evaluate the pros and cons of using Google Apps for staff that resulted in Google apps being open for all staff. >>University wide promotion and lead 100+ strong user group coordination for a Peer Instruction software 'Allthevotes.com'. Acquired free lifelong use of basic version of the software for the University.>>Lead the University wide Google Chromebooks for Assessment and Learning and teaching project. Staff development in Technology Enhanced learning:>>Design and delivery of several pedagogically informed staff development sessions related to above technologies. >>Organised 3 very successful teaching and learning conferences (100+ delegates).
