As an Office of the Designated Approving Authority (ODAA) ISSP responsibilities include management support for internal and external management, and other vendors, also assisting and advising field office (FO) in the areas of overseeing protection of US and foreign classified information in the hands of cleared industry through administration of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Create management briefings and metrics, provide guidance and advice in support of NISP Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and associated agency mission. Set standards, interpret and update agency policies, oversee and create templates and forms for all FO in support of C&A and RMF process. Also, part of Quality Assurance & Field Operations (QAFS) for ODAA creating, setting standard and performing QA/QC reviews for classified IT system. Also, responsible for creating educational and training contents for Cleared Defense Contractors (CDC) on IT systems and DSS enterprise databases/application. Provide weekly/monthly metrics to senior management, to industry as well as other internal and external agency managements such as NISPPAC, ISOO, DIBNet.
