As an Office of the Designated Approving Authority (ODAA) ISSP responsibilities include management support for internal and external management, and other vendors, also assisting and advising field office (FO) in the areas of overseeing protection of US and foreign classified information in the hands of cleared industry through administration of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Create management briefings and metrics, provide guidance and advice in support of NISP Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and associated agency mission. Set standards, interpret and update agency policies, oversee and create templates and forms for all FO in support of C&A and RMF process. Also, part of Quality Assurance & Field Operations (QAFS) for ODAA creating, setting standard and performing QA/QC reviews for classified IT system. Also, responsible for creating educational and training contents for Cleared Defense Contractors (CDC) on IT systems and DSS enterprise databases/application. Provide weekly/monthly metrics to senior management, to industry as well as other internal and external agency managements such as NISPPAC, ISOO, DIBNet.

The IDENT is a multibillion dollar Biometric Identification System of US-VISIT, a division of DHS is the major biometric identification services to assists all levels of US government to accurately identify risky individuals to the US. I was part of the team that was responsible for, IDENT modernization mission. Also, I was part of the team of requirement analysts for Latent Modernization System initiative. The team was tasked to collect requirements and document the Latent system, as well as to modernize/upgrade other systems, such as “LightsOut” process for IDENT.

As a Project Manager, Senior Software Engineer, and a Subject Matter Expert, responsibly includes providing technical support to 27 field offices of Housing Urban Development (HUD) Office of Labor Relation (OLR) and The HUD Office of Administrative Law Judges (OALJ). Prepared and presented briefings to senior management and effectively communicated technical and management metrics, status and issues. I also, mange day to day activities of two software development projects LR2000 and Monitor. LR2000 and Monitor was developed and maintained using PowerBuilder C/S IDE with MS SQL server RDBMS and with integrated online help. These help systems were created using Macromedia Robohelp. Also, developed and participated in other HUD projects such as Comprehensive Compliance and Monitoring Initiative (CCMI) and Physical Assessment Sub-System (PASS) Mission Oriented Business Integrate Services (MOBIS). CCMI team designed and developed J2EE applications, JSP pages with MS SQL server triggers and stored procedures, Sybase triggers and stored procedures and Oracle Data Warehouse RDBMS. I also setup and maintained SCM using PVCS, and setup development standards. In the PASS MOBIS project I was responsible for interfacing with client to collect requirements and assisted the team with many offline tools that interfaced with Sybase and Oracle database. I also, setup software development standards and bug fix request tracking standards.
