I am a graduate of Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I aspire to be an Occupational Therapist as it would be a truly rewarding experience to help individuals achieve their goals and lead meaningful, balanced lives. I will achieve this goal by gaining more knowledge through volunteering and job experience which will further my understanding on how to help individuals with mental and physical disabilities. During my leisure, I enjoy cycling , reading, swimming, volunteering and learning how to do new things. I am also a background performer, part-time during the summer. I especially enjoy volunteering as it gives me a sense of community and it also helps me learn new things, not only about the people I volunteer for/with, but also about myself. I currently volunteer at Supporting Neurodiversity through Adaptive Programming (SNAP) Program and Community Living, as well as at Big Brothers Big Sisters as an in-school mentor. My goal through volunteering is to make a positive change in people's lives and the community.
