• Oversee HR functions for 1000 + staff, lead the response to labor and compensation issues, conduct recruitment initiatives, and manage employee onboarding activities. • Manage HR processes with the support of the HR Director for 1000 + employees across 12 locations to standardize the training process and created a database to facilitate knowledge sharing (e.g., shared drive, training, meetings, etc.) • Provide direction and support to the operational management team in developing associates through training, coaching, performance management, and appropriate placement to maintain retention. • Engage with management to meet business objectives and reach annual diversity initiative goals. • Develop and overarching strategies to improve employee relations and cross-functional collaboration, including establishing the employee resource group (TEAs) and planning events to drive employee engagement in hopes of improving retention by 70%.• Serve as a liaison between management and employee-on-employee-related issues. • Responsible for compliance process and training. • Maintain consistent and fair administration of the company’s policies and procedures while ensuring local, State, and federal laws and regulations. • Support and maintain engagement surveys, exit interviews, and other surveys.• Handle all employee relations counseling, disciplinary actions, separations, and exit interviews. • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics such as time to hire and employee turnover rates.• Educated employees on benefit programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurance, vacation, sick leave, and leave of absence.• Consult with legal counsel for compliance with ADA, COBRA, EEO, HIPPA, FMLA, ERISA, and OSHA regulations.• Perform other job-related duties or special projects.
