Responsible for informing students on the extensive variety of sports and recreational activities, of which they can partake in at City University. During important events, such as: welcome week and fresher’s, I shall be representing the athletics department and reaching out to the students and encouraging them to sign up and become part of City University’s sports family. I pride myself in playing many sports, such as: football, golf, rugby and fencing. As a fitness enthusiast, I enjoy sharing it with others and helping them find a positive way to utilize their spare time.

Gained work experience at Neuman’s law firm, located in front of St. Paul’s Cathedral in Central London. I received hands on experience alongside head of department in insolvency, restructuring and litigation and assisted with high profile cases.

City Law School

As first year representative for the law school I was chosen to speak on behalf of the student body. I was responsible for informing students on important notices, gaining feedback from examinations, events and socials. I would also respond to any questions or concerns of the students and bring them to the law school’s panel, where we discuss in detail the academic structure of the course, any ways we can improve the program and the law school.

During my summer I spent four weeks at the Faculty of Law discussing advanced legal concepts, learning about the reality of the Canadian legal system, and applying their knowledge in a variety of stimulating environments. I was introduced to the opportunity to step into the shoes of a lawyer and immerse myself in the practice of law. I was able to better my advocacy and analytic skills. I received the chance to go behind the scenes at some of Canada’s largest courts and most prestigious law firms. I worked alongside other high school students from a worldwide spectrum who were also successful for the limited places on offer. I was also given the chance to apply what I learnt through immersive, realistic, and complex legal simulations, such as: mock trials taken place at Osgoode Law School with real judges.
