Mann Law brings its experience to assist a variety of clients, primarily with the growth of small to medium-sized businesses, including the establishment of family offices where appropriate. Mann Law has served as outside general counsel to an osteopathic university and chiropractic offices, lead counsel in acquisition of commercial properties from downtown Kansas City to regional distribution centers, and corporate counsel to a metro automotive group engaged innovative strategies for the industry, residential and commercial real estate development and disposition, including condominimization. It's local practice includes representation of clients along KC's Streetcar line, issues related to privatization of municipal parking, and establishment of a zone for retail sale of liquor and negotiation of distribution agreements throughout the U.S.

During my period with Mann Conroy, I was lead counsel for a hotel acquisition and management group focused on university golf course sites throughout the country. I also provided counsel for the renewal of a "failed" new home community, including extensive work on planning and zoning matters. Related to this was my continued work with tax exempt organizations, including one to prevent human trafficking. It was during this period that I assisted in the negotiation of liquor distribution agreements for NCAA, NFL, and MLB schools and franchises and other private labeling. Continuing my work with emerging companies, I represented an award-winning entrepreneur that designed, developed, and distributed ergonomic personal mobility devices. In addition, I represented an entrepreneurial incubator program with over 100 participating companies, a number of which became clients of the firm.

Served as outside general corporate counsel for companies having revenues up to $100 million. This included serving as general counsel to a life insurance company having billions of insurance in force, a rapidly growing regional bank with assets in excess of $3.5 billion, and an international concrete saw and blade company, all of which included many corporate acquisitions and mergers. I also assisted high net worth individuals develop exit strategies together with personal family business and office planning. I assisted entrepreneurs in the structure, funding, and growth of their companies. I had extensive experience with real estate development projects and commercial mortgage loans collectively having a value in excess of many hundreds of millions of dollars. Finally, I founded Animal Health Corridor while Chairman of the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce.
