I'm an audio engineer with over 2 decades of experience in music and post-production. I grew up in the midwest and learned my craft at one of the most prestigious studios in Chicago, The Chicago Recording Company(CRC). I worked alongside some of the best artists, producers, engineers and mixers in the world and those experiences have shaped who I am to this day. Early in my career, I befriended Billy Corgan as an assistant on a session with The Smashing Pumpkins and the personal relationship we cultivated would lead him to ask me to engineer the first record of his band Zwan. It's these types of special connections I've had with artists, clients, and co-workers that have helped me to continue to be relevant in a very competitive industry. My first boss at CRC has long since left the company but still hires me to mix for the YouTube webcasts of popular music festivals Coachella and Bonnaroo.Working with Fall Out Boy and Patrick Stump brought me to Los Angeles and I fell in love with the city and made it my home. I have embraced the post-production audio world and have honed my skills in this area since my re-location. I love helping tell a story while using sound as a narrator you can feel in stereo and immersive surround. At WGN America I was a key resource in the re-launch of the network and rose to the Director of Audio Production. I was responsible for the mixing and audio production of all assets on the network which included: On-air promos, cable spots(including all versioning), upfront presentations, BTS pieces, social spots, and main titles for their original shows. I handled the scheduling of all voice-over artists and managed a small team of engineers while working closely with the operations department to ensure on-time delivery of all assets.Currently working as the Senior Audio Engineer at Paramount+ at Paramount. Also freelance for Fox Entertainment, Crunchyroll, and Known; sound designing and mixing trailers as well as long-form programming.On the weekends you can find me at the beach or up at Mammoth skiing with my daughter.
