Recently graduated, but I never stopped learning. Mechanical Engineer with a passion for design and problem solving, particularly relating to the biomedical and environmental fields.I began my career path many years ago, as a kid thinking “I want to do whatever I can to help others!” Then I grew some, and I found my interest and natural talent to be in math and physics, and I thought “That’s not realistic, my skill would be better used in engineering.” Now I’ve grown more, and I finally understand the true potential that engineers have to reimagine and progress the world.I have developed a wide range of well-balanced technical and communication skills through my work and study of engineering. I enjoy doing design work - I’m proficient in both Solidworks and Creo. I am also great at communicating and working with a team – a skill I have developed through countless group projects, meetings, and experiences such as working in sales and taking the role of team lead in my capstone project.More about that project: One of my proudest achievements to date is successfully designing a working prototype for a fully detachable bronchoscope. As elected team lead, my team worked with UT Southwestern to solve a niche issue within bronchoscope design, working within deadlines and budget restrictions. Our design met all the conditions and is now patent pending!What you should know about me most: I am a reliable, detail-oriented engineer that will thrive as a part of your team. Hard work is not so when you are passionate about what you do. I am always searching for opportunities to enrich myself and help the world in my own little way.
