Manohar Lahori (born November 27, 1954) is an Indian business magnate, investor, and philanthropist. Manohar serves as the chairman and CEO of Palmon Group. He is considered to be one of the most successful investors in the Dubai. Palmon Group was established 1974 in India and 1985 in Dubai with apparel manufacturing facilities producing million pieces a month for stores such as Gap, BHS, CNA, Debenhams and others in USA and Europe. It grew from 1 factory to 30 factories employing 4000 workers with Sales offices in New York, London and Manchester. It is one of the longest-standing manufacturing, retail and logistics companies in the UAE. With Manohar Lahori’s dedication, innovation and drive the company had grown from a single operation in Jebel Ali Free Zone to the successful group of more than 20 companies. In 2004, with the elimination of quotas by WTO all the factories were converted into storage and warehouses enabling a natural transition into the logistics business. 2004 also saw the launch of freehold properties in Dubai, which Manohar opportunistically invested in. By 2005 Manohar had over 40 real estate assets, industrial, commercial, and residential. The confidence and faith in Dubai and UAE made him further invest in all sectors and areas of Dubai. Gifted with an exemplary foresight and vision towards real estate, the group’s growing portfolio in past 15 years is a testimony of the same. In 2018, Manohar co-founded Manrre Logistics Fund in DIFC.
