Engaged with a Joint Venture Company (JVC) set up between two oil majors of India i.e. BPCL and (IOCL), Manohar is responsible for Capex buying of items worth $70M such as pumps, line pipe, Valves with various actuators, Metering & Filtering equipment, Electrical, Instrumentation, SCADA packages of LPG cross country pipeline. The project is a part of integrated refinery expansion project (IREP) of Kochi Refinery by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited. The project also links to the Import Terminal of IOCL.Responsible to source finished goods and equipment while managing schedule, cost and quality and prepare contracts in collaboration with technical consultants.•Carried out project planning and scheduling, preparation of engineering design basis, appointment of technical consultant, finalization of procurement strategy, purchase procedure etc in consultation with both promoter companies of JVC i.e. BPCL & IOCL.•Executed $70M contracts through meticulous planning and strategic collaboration with 70+ domestic & international suppliers, customers and consultants to ensure on-time delivery until effective completion of project.•Represented the company in techno-commercial discussions with consultants during various phases of project such as feasibility study, Hazop, SIL, IFB & BQC finalization, procurement through demonstration by potential bidders, Pre-bid meetings, conducting Reverse auction, Kick-off meetings.•Diversified experience such as setting up of Joint Venture Company between two oil majors of India, employing Marine cum storage erection insurance cover for the project, employing legal consultant for the newly established Joint Venture, etc.

Responsible for conducting optimization studies on various equipment and reporting to top management regarding the chances of increasing the reliability & operational efficiency.• Collaborating with operations team, technical consultancies and suppliers to carryout predictive, preventive checks on equipment and identified new opportunities for process improvement.• Conducting market survey, preparation of scope documents and qualification criterion, carrying out cost analysis, identifying vendors, floating of RFQs, techno commercial evaluation of bidders, awarding of jobs for procurement of various equipment.• Carrying out stage-wise and final inspection at suppliers' works, ensured technical specification for the successful installation & commissioning of various equipment. Communicated various operational difficulties to the manufacturers for innovative product development.• Continuously updating the technical skills by attending various training programs organized by various consultants and suppliers.

Responsible for product operation, planning, scheduling, contingencies, audits and statutory requirements while handling pipeline operations and formulated operational risk assessment and mitigation measures.• Involved in process optimization, batch scheduling, sequencing pipeline operations and demand forecasting.• Carried out all optimization studies and implemented Capex jobs by reevaluating the operational efficiency.• Responsible for product quality assurance to meet environment, health, safety and quality standards.

Responsible for construction and operations jobs of Oil installation and cross country pipeline including installation and commissioning of all associated facilities.•Worked with cross functional team including technical consultants, customers, vendors, suppliers, finance, quality, and logistics for successful completion of projects worth $25M.•Coordinated with customer group and technical consultants to design and implement the world class system by reevaluating customer requirements.•Supervised and approved QAPs and manufacturing procedures as per international standards (API, ASME, OISD) to achieve desired quality while maintaining the tight schedule of the projects.•Identified opportunities and resolved conflicts at various levels to increase productivity.•Undergone various technical & managerial training program to improve the skill set.
