Advising on tapping the opportunities in analytical services for Mining Industry

Leading the team with departmental Heads for analytical services pertaining to Food, Pharmaceuticals, Water, Petroleum, Mining, Environmental monitoring and Inorganic based industries.

The company was in the space of industrial coatings - Coil Coatings. The company was a 100% subsidiary of HydroCoatings, UK, Had the distinction of setting up the worldclass manufacturing facility, recruiting the entire team and creating a dynamic team of employees, establishing customer base and expanding business to UAE, Phillipines, Bangladesh, Nepal, South Africa in addition to Indian business being strong in Business Development, created awareness in the market through high level PR activities. Turned around the company through aggressive business plan taking more than 50% market share among three strong competitors, reducing the product development and product supply time, substituting key raw materials with economical options without sacrificing quality, keeping in line with the Quality system of the parent company. This was significant on the face of adverse capital structure of the company.Made extensive visits to UK, Germany and other European countries, Middle East, apart from entire Bangladesh and Nepal.Responsible for P & L.

The company was a 50:50 JV with Solidur, Germany and was a leading processor of Engineering Plastics - UHMWPE. Did extensive market development activities in the paper plants pan India and bottling plants including Coke and Pepsi. Made significant contribution through innovation in manufacturing practices thereby resulting in cost reduction. Made extensive visits to German HQ.Responsible for P & L.

Conducted significant number of market development projects pan India and did extensive PR activities including publishing articles in national and international industry journals, in contact with 1500 end customers.The company was in the space of Glass Fiber reinforcements and textile yarn and Composites.

Was responsible for Sales target, outstanding debtors and market development projects for the entire eastern region of India.

Was involved in manufacturing of Glass Fiber - production, production planning, process improvement, waste reduction, developing alternate raw materials to reduce cost and improve process efficiency.

Joined as a Plant Engineer and within a year officiated as Shift Manager as a mark of achievement. The plant is a typical petrochemical one involving almost all the unit operations and mass transfer equipments like pumps, blowers, compressors in the entire range.
