As a Project Executive at SRIJAN, I focus on enhancing rural livelihoods through the promotion of natural farming practices, vegetable cultivation, natural resource management, and community development. My work includes adopting 500 small and marginal farmers into sustainable practices, promoting vegetable cultivation with 600 farmers, and constructing water harvesting structures such as 9 farm ponds and treating 21.14 hectares of land through field bunding and land leveling. I also work closely with a Farmer Producer Company (FPC) comprising 1,400 shareholders and support a federation of 700 SHG women. My role involves training, financial oversight, and fostering community engagement to enhance livelihoods and sustainability.

As a Project Executive Trainee at SRIJAN, my role is designed to blend learning with practical experience over a one-year period. I start by immersing myself in community dynamics, understanding various livelihood interventions, and exploring community-led development. This involves engaging with local communities, working with different livelihood approaches, participating in training sessions, and mastering key processes like MIS and financial management. As I progress, I take on responsibilities for specific village, conduct baseline surveys, and directly implement various interventions, gaining valuable hands-on experience and insights from the community.
