My responsibility as Sales DGM was my accountability for all the Key and Developing customers of Wires & Fabriks, which includes Top 48 mills of India enduring maximum business to the company. Beside Developing and implementing sales strategy to grow business with both existing and prospective customers in Indian market, I have to:1) Set budget and targets on annual and quarterly basis for zones, monitor results and take suitable actions to achieve targets2) Lead the account management programme, extending the current footprint and ensuring high quality of service delivery to major accounts3) Coordinate and guide the activities of regional sales managers to achieve sales targets4) Manage and motivate sales team, identify their development and training needs and coach them to achieve higher levels of performance5) Build long term relationship with the customers with an objective to understand their needs and satisfy them on a continuous basis6) Work with top management team to implement and manage change in order to position the company to tap emerging opportunities in paper machine clothing industry7) Update the Product & Development department to develop new processes and systems to improve customer experience8) Monitor accounts receivable ageing and take action to control receivables

Identifying business opportunities and follow up with prospective clients for new business. Responsible for keeping track of new projects coming in India. Segmenting targeting and accordingly positioning of product in the market. Opening meetings, formulating and developing strategies in light with the internal and external factors of the business environment and by doing SWOT analysis and review of performances of the product. Key project management of Complete machines ordered from Northern and western india. Keeping a track of not only the direct buyer user but also the user’s end use market. Preparing clarifications and conducting negotiations with clients for orders. Making Presentations to clients and preparing reports for top management. Data Collection, compilation and documentation of records. Finally realization of sales by getting the payments and “C” Forms collected.

Actively involved in Erection and Commissioning of Oxygen and Chlorine-dioxide plants and 211 TPD Bagasse Pulp Mill and which was successfully commissioned in April 1995. From 1996, independently handle the operations of bagasse pulp section for eight years. In July 2004 company thought of enhancing the pulp capacity by installing new digester house, management has identified me as the project coordinator to perform and handle the project activities. In 2005, company launched a massive expansion plan of setting up a new 250 tons per day Street, I was responsible for project planning and management, time planning for project, resource planning.All of this includes arrangements of offer, technical and commercial evaluations of offer, ordering of equipment’s, cost planning and finally execution and monitoring of project right from zero stage to erection of building and Plant and machinery.
