As Manager Business Systems I lead the administration support of Flight Operations in the areas of strategic workforce planning, , Crewing System Super User support, Flight Crew records, Accounts Reconciliation, Manpower Planning and Flight and Cabin Crew recruitment. My goal is to develop operations support management systems that deliver regulatory compliant and cost effective outcomes.

Key result areas:- Over all administration and supervision of Planning & crew rostering department.- Prepare long term plan base on forecasted growth which include recruitment, inter fleet upgrade and cadet induction. - Develop short term plan in term of manpower, system, procedures considering future growth.- Provide monthly update to VP-Ops as regards to crew manpower, productivity, sickness, failures and preventive action plan. - Introduce optimizing technique by defining parameters to achieve optimum and cost effective productivity based on the season, month, considering forecasted level of pre- assigned activity- Analyse pairings and roster production, produce statistics to measure financial and quality targets on a monthly, seasonal and annual basis. Based on the output of these statistics highlight issues and recommend remedial action where appropriate.- Monitor associated costs (hotel, travel and allowances) by ensuring rosters are balanced with respect to work coverage, crew utilisation including lifestyle factors, crew productivity and cost of operation.- Manage the Crew Optimisation team efficiently, ensuring a motivated and focused team.- Lead and develop the Optimisation team, ensuring that they have the knowledge, skills, motivation and attitude to perform to a consistently high standard.- Prepare and execute annual leave & training plan. - Automation of planning and tracking system.- Prepare and publish efficient, legally compliant crew rosters in accordance with Company Crew rostering policies fully compliant with DGCA flight & duty time regulation.- Manage the implementation of Optimisation Systems changes and bug resolution through input to the following - specification of requirements, testing, training and implementation, accountable for the successful sign off into live.
