• Spearheaded and streamlined procurement activities of domestic procurement of Melting consumables, Chemicals, Packing consumables, CAPEX & MRO spares for SMS, Hot roll as well as cold rolled division.
• Monitoring business optimization initiatives for all Supply Chain Processes.
• Facilitated cost improvement opportunities and devising & effectuating internal-external control procedures.
• Preparation of purchase / work orders, purchase requisitions in SAP and keeping track of the delivery status of various materials and releasing status for jobs / contracts.
• Facilitated project purchases like Stackle mill revamping, bell-annealing, pickling line etc.

 Managed the gamut of tasks including Planning, Techno Commercial Functions, Contract Management across various assignments.  Implementation of ISO9000, & QS9000 Quality Systems at Moser Baer. Responsible for finalizing specifications, commercial terms, reviewing offers and finalizing contracts for all major development Contracts for the Company. .
