Involved in Nepal Pro-poor Urban Regeneration Pilot Project (The World Bank Financed – Grant No: JSDF TF015780. The project has four components: (i) Participatory Action Plan for Pro-poor Urban Regeneration; (ii) Grant Facility- Window 1 for Improvements in small Infrastructure and Basic Services including Disaster Risk Management and Heritage Conservation, Window 2 for Pro-poor Community-based Initiatives in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Window 3 for Pro-poor Business Development; (iii) Community Awareness and Local Capacity Building for Pro-poor Urban Regeneration and (iv) Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation , Knowledge Dissemination and Project Management and Administration) • Assist Project Management Team (PMT) with Overall Project Management and day-to-day Administration of the Grant Facility

For more than six years, I served as a Deputy Executive Director of Government of Nepal, Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Fund Development Board (“Board”); and in between period, I successfully served for more than eight months as an Officiating Executive Director (first man of the Board’s secretariat) of this Organization as well. During my tenure in the board till date, under my leadership more than 2500 rural communities have had social capital development; different tools have been applied to transform their social capital into economic capital; have been trained with health hygiene tools for behavioral change as well as trained in social and environmental safeguard issues through social including conflict and environmental management plan; ultimately these communities have been served with safe Water Supply, Sanitation and Health (WASH) , and livelihood Services through community based demand driven participatiry approach.Moreover, I have contributed through a case study in preparation of SMARTER SANITATION by Asian Development Bank in 2005 which is an electronic toolkit to help national and local government put their sanitation and wastewater sector on the success path to achieve the MDG. I have very nice experience of noting how things are being done internationally in WASH sector during my various relevant training & observation visits to the different countries e.g. Bangladesh, India, China, Philippines, Thailand, Kenya, United Arab Emirates, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, England, Switzerland, Austria, Italy ,Singapore, Australia and Japan.

Involved in -Technical Design and Estimate of Water and Sanitation System;Extensive Monitoring and Evaluation , Technical Trainings; Water Quality Testing; Material Quality Testing; and Procurement of Goods/Works/Services following The World Bank Procurement Guidelines.

Involved in various engineering design, estimates , bidding and project preparation & management activities of differnt sectors including Urban and Rural Water Supply, Sanitation, Road, Irrigation and Hydrology jointly undertaken by the Company with different international firms e.g.The Louise Berger Group Inc. USA, International consultants and Technocrats (Pvt.) Ltd. INDIA, Soil and Water Ltd. Finland,TAHAL Consulting Engineers Ltd., Israel , Metcalf & Eddy Inc., USA,MEIKEN Consultants Co.
