Dr. Manoj completed his B. Tech in Industrial and Production Technology from M.I.E.T, Meerut, M. Tech and PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Delhi), New Delhi in the area of Production Technology and Mechanical Engineering respectively in 2005 & 2011. He spend three and half year with ESAB, at ESAB Engineering Services division (ESAB is a world leader in the production of welding and cutting equipment and consumables.), Dr. Manoj working with LNMIIT since 2013 as Assistant Professor. He developed several academic and research laboratory and added several unique experiments to LNMIIT Labs. He provided several industrial consultancy in india and abroad. He has very strong bonding with industries and actively involved in solving their real time problems. He is an active researcher and offers several industry relevant projects to LNMIIT and MNIT Jaipur Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Research and Industrial expertise area: Flux formulation for general purpose, stainless steel, cast iron and hardfacing SMAW consumables, Flux formulation for SAW welding, cladding and hardfacing consumables, Fluxes for tubular welding electrodes, Swet on paste consumable flux, FCAW fluxes for welding and surfacing, Wear Plate consumable and high productivity process development, recycling of slag, Green manufacturing, Steel production fluxes, Color metallography, PESMAW,Metallic 3D printing process, Advanced submerged arc welding process and its consumables, Advanced GMAW process, Non transferred SMAW process, Zero fluctuation SMAW process, under water welding, Aluminum casting, Plasma arc cutting and gouging consumables, 70 HRC hardness in single layer over mild steel, Hybrid SMAW and GMAW process, Hardfacing with paste coating consumables etc.
