Key Responsibilities (Engine Quality) Responsible for engine assembly, Part fitment, Process check, and engine audits in engine assembly. Make analysis and evaluation of failures on engine from hot test,CP4, Engine audit, all check points and field failures Evaluate effectively of corrective / preventive actions implemented. Prepare the reports for supplier problems on engine or engine components. Coordination and control of major engine repairs. Coordinate with Skoda, MB for major problems related to engine. Performing Process Audit on the Engine assembly line as per all Process Step.Key Responsibilities (Vehicle Quality) Responsible for overall quality of Vehicle. Analysis, implementation & monitoring of field concerns in plant. To carry out internal product audit. Providing actions to various agencies to control final quality of product. Problem solving through QC tools like QC story etc. Looking after shower leakage test and take effective steps to avoid commonly occurring problems. Monitoring squeak & Rattle test (drives test), Roller test and investigations of newly occurred problem. Preparation of SOS & SOP for inspectors. Monitoring internal vehicle audit. Handling external field complaints & monitoring actions on it. To introduce various test in-house to reduce JD power problem. Performing Process Audit on the Engine & vehicle assembly line as per all Process Step (Cooling, Fuel, Power Train, Brake & clutch system, Drive Train, AC system, Cable routing & light system, Exterior-Door, front end & Interior-Cockpit , seat sub assembly, etc) as per VDA 6.3Achievements: Reduction in rework of high door effort vehicle through QC story. Reverse crash shifting elimination by taking actions on part. Implementation of SOS & SOP for inspection.  Reduction in incidences of airbag malfunctions in plant by 32%.
