As a mentor for Aakar's 3-month Community Leadership Initiative program (June 2024-August 2024), I guide a young assigned High School Mentee in creating and executing impactful projects. My role includes providing learning opportunities, modeling positive behavior, offering social support, advocating for resources, challenging mentees to maximize their potential, and fostering a sincere, unconditional friendship. Through this mentorship, participants benefit from additional programs such as a social entrepreneurship curriculum, career advising, and guest lectures, enhancing their skills and creating lasting social impact.
