At Amway I am responsible for leading "SRE & Platform Engineering" team. Key responsibilties include:-Providing a reliable platform that can help Amway accelerate the application development & delivery. -Ensuring reliability of applications running on the platform including Amway's commerce website, which has global presence.Our constant endeavor is to build and evolve the platform to meet the stakeholders needs.Key Platform Features:-Fully automated Continous Integration & Deployment (GitOps)-Embedded security in the entire lifecycle (SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST) and PCI-DSS compliant-Internal Developer Platform (IDP) for self-service-Cloud native architecture to build & run applications-Embedded observability using mix of Open Source & commercial SaaS solutions-Everything as Code (XasCode) including Security Policies, Infrastructure, Monitoring, Documentation, & Configuration.-Multi-tenant highly available architectureKey Technolgies:-AWS Public Cloud Platform (Services in Networking, Compute, Storage, Appliation Integration, Audit & Monitoring, Cost analysis & control)-Elastic Kubernetes Service as primary runtime engine.-Istio service mesh (Multi-cluster Mesh)-AWS CDK Typescript for Infrastructure as Code-Jenkins, AWS Code Build, Code Pipeline, ArgoCD for CI/CD-Open Policy Agent - OPA for security and infrastructure governance-Prometheus, Grafana, Grafana Tempo, AWS CloudWatch, & Splunk.-Variety of security tools (AWS Shield, WAF, Prisma Compute, GitHub Dependabot, Prisma Defender, SonarQube, etc.)
