I founded Sumedh Infosystems Private Limited, an IT service company in 2010. As Project and Service Delivery Lead, I worked on and led more than 20 small-mid-size projects across multiple domains including: e-commerce, travel, mobile apps. I helped set up an IT Infrastructure and built a strong software application development team from scratch. I was spearheading the overall IT operations and delivering small to medium projects. Most of the work revolves around rendering turn-key & end-to-end IT solutions to SMEs, drafting IT policies, processes/procedures & best-practices as per business needs, ensuring documentation of new business requirements; developing detailed pricing models for submission & approval after discussing new contracts. I directed end-to-end management of projects spanning scheduling, costing, budgeting, and resource planning, provide PMO oversight and manage delivery of projects. I was also involved in providing detailed & structured methodology to execute projects by making effective use of agile/scrum.In addition, I worked on bids including commercial and technical proposals, managed the presales lifecycle from RFP & RFQ support, qualification, liaison to completion, pricing & negotiations as well as solution development, and solution modeling.I have also been responsible for hiring, inducting & training new staff members & developing succession practices where internal staff, partners, and independent consultants/contractors operate as a seamless team.

With CPA Global, I worked on and led the development of their flagship product as well as on other Intellectual Property (IP) projects. My main responsibilities involved working with product owners to plan and execute projects, ensuring that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates. I also collaborated with the Product Management to define the overall product vision. In addition, I also provided deployment of software upgrades, enhancement and fixes that were coordinated based on release schedules and provided software development plans that met the future needs of clients and markets, evolved the existing software system applications and architecture in various areas as needed. I also assisted fellow and reporting developers in resolving technical problems, while providing leadership and guidance wherever needed.In initial stages I worked in etl project involving data migration from customer legacy system to own system. I facilitated technology transition for conversion process which led to major improvement in turn times. In addition to that I supported a Java based migration tool. I managed a mid-sized team of developers and testers.

I initiated my professional career as a Assistant Systems Engineer with TCS, Mumbai where I worked with a team of developers to design and develop dynamic, complex web based products and services. I wrote and maintained custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks and additionally provided 2nd and 3rd level support.
