Manoj Hanoomanjee is a highly experienced and skilled C-level Executive with over 30 years’ experience of senior level leadership within the Building & Construction industry and the Hospitality and Service industry. Manoj’s rich career covers various key leadership positions, starting as VP IT and Finance Management at l’Entreprise Industrielle, a Building & Construction Group in Lyon, France, where he was instrumental in creating and leading the first dual skill department in IT and Finance. Indeed, his dual academic background in Business Administration & Information Technology from the University of Lyon Lumière contributed to a new management model in the early 90s in Business and Finance management by an optimal use of technology with a business focus. In Mauritius, Manoj joined Sun International Indian Ocean (later One&Only Resort), a Hotel Group in Mauritius as Group Director of Information Systems where, again, he contributed to turn the company into a Technology-driven company. In this role, Manoj overlooked the Information Systems strategy for the whole group in Dubai, Maldives, Comoros and, of course, Mauritius. His dual skills IT and Finance were strong assets that helped the regional expansion with regards to ICT Strategy. Manoj was involved in more than 15 hotel openings in the region.Manoj started his own business in 2012 after 16 years with Sun International/O&O by founding the first (if not the One and Only) genuine Business & Technology Consulting Firm in Mauritius with operations in Africa and the region.
