37 years of experience in Quality assurance, ETP and Fertilizer packaging section. Presently working as GM- Production (Bagging). My present role requires me to co-ordinate to maximize bagging of various grades of Ammonium Nitrate (explosives) and Nitro-phosphate (fertilizers) with fullest productivity level, ensuring safety & wellness of people, assets and environment. This role requires to manage 10 automated bagging machines, 02 robots, 03 conventional palletizers with automatic stretch film wrapper machines, 03 telescopic loading arms, 01 reclaimer and material conveying routes for transportation of semi-finished & finished products. Identifying scope of improvement of plant, machine & systems for betterment in operation. Ensuring continuous availability of resources & uninterrupted operation of the plant/machine. Coordinating with maintenance departments for critical maintenanceReducing downtime by keeping a close watch on every step of bagging operation to diagnose problems and identify potential stoppages; thereby to take corrective action. Carrying out effective troubleshooting of plant / machine in case of deviationAssessing the Hazard, eliminate/minimize the hazard by understanding the plant/machine status. Focus attention on IMS &TPM activities. Updating the record, up grading the Aspect-Impact and HIRA, coordination with MR office, Training on ISO & AM within dept. Compliance of requirements as per AN rules. Above activities are supported by 10 shift in charges, 45 panel officers, 30 operators and 100 contract labors / day. Day to day close coordination with maintenance , logistic, marketing and materials for overall budgetary target achievements
