Manoj Kumar Das is a senior advisor and contributing in building and growing a multitude of businesses, particularly in Banking, Real Estate, Advertising and Media sectors. As CEO and Group Advisor, he has been a stalwart guiding force for owners, promoters and company boards. As a thought leader in sales and marketing, Mr. Das has managed large national profit centres including responsibilities of India’s leading brands like The Times of India, and Navbharat Times, local and multinational accounts like Nokia, Suzuki and Bridgestone , diverse creative talents including newspaper editorial. Known for his creativity and innovation, he was recipient of the ‘Best Idea of the Year’ award by one of the most trusted brands in India—The Times of India Group. Harnessing the festive spirits of India’s diverse rural consumers, he created a highly successful platform ‘The Great Country Fair’ for the leading consumer facing brands delivering reach, captive audience, impact and sales as Chief Executive for the then affiliate of D D B Needham. To foster his entrepreneurial spirit, he built a multi-regional company and acquired retail, MSME and Mid corporate non-performing assets since 2002 and assisted in resolution and reconstruction. While serving as COO for an asset management firm for an investment company quoted in AIM London, he handled both acquisition and resolution of large textile and petrochemical assets for an ARC. Mr Das has advised launch of nearly 40 projects in residential realty. Mr Das had promoted and led as Chief Executive and full time Director in the Board of an Indo-Australian JV creating huge upgrades in media and advertising options in the country. Mr. Das has been an active member of Asian interest in growth and development of African entrepreneurs. UNDP New York had selected Mr. Das and his company as one of the 100 entrepreneurs in Asia for AABF II program in Durban RSA. His active contribution was recognised when he was invited as distinguished speaker at International Banking Round Table at Port Louis, prior to AABF III at Dakar Senegal. Mr. Das has a First Class Honours degree in Economics with Mathematics and Statistics and Post-Graduation in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He continues to strive for excellence in his personal and professional endeavours.
