Whispir’s Product Team is responsible for the management, growth and ownership of Whispir’s products. My responsibilities are:o Work closely with engineering teams, product managers, sales, enablement and service team to defining features, writing specifications and user stories.o Responsible for the research, investigate of potential new features and technologies.o Driving new product ideas from initial concept, through technical definition, all the way toa customer-ready product launch. o Define features, write specifications and user stories, create prototypes, acceptance tests for the key new features and product initiatives.o Actively participate as a member of the product team to standardise and improve the current product for our Whispir clients.o Work closely with the pre-sales, enablement and product teams to assist in bridging the gap between customer requirements and the current platform.o Plan, prioritise and allocate team work activities for each sprint and ensure that a regular team cadence is followed planning, estimate and retrospective meetings.o Assist in a technical capacity to ensure that all quality processes are followed correctly e.g. unit test, code reviews and risk assessment.o Assist team in providing good and reasonable estimates on customer requirements where quality and process is not compromised.o Provide high level documentation and diagrams for any pre-sales designs and integration work.o Develop, code and work under the standard Whispir SDLC to implement key customer features and fixes as required.o Communicate current, and future functionality to customers and the business. Incorporate feedback. Work with Marketing to plan release notes for all stakeholders.o Work with Whispir Project Managers to manage the daily workflow of stories and development outcomes.o Ensure the product is well-crafted and shipped at a timely pace.

o Lead a team of Front End and Mobile Developers to deliver innovative, high quality products to Whispir clients.o Own the technical architecture for web stack and mobile stack developments. Responsible for service architecture and frameworks are required for future growth and their general strategies such as availability, durability and scalability.o Build and develop new products, which are easy to maintain highly elastic by leveraging API's and gearing platform towards cloud.o Continuous service improvement and capacity planing to ensure scalability of the Whispir cloud environment.o Technical mentoring, design reviews, implementing best practices/processes and hiring.o Interacting efficiently with product and other engineering teams at Whispir.

o Lead technical design, coding and unit testing of view components of Whispir Platform.o Make user interface design (technical) recommendations, contributing technical expertise and innovation.o Understand technical and functional design requirements, and task allocation.o Be knowledgeable and up-to-date with all Whispir products as well as industry trends, technologies, frameworks and techniques.

o Building and shipping Whispir products and features.o Collaborating with technology leads and other engineers to analyse complex feature requests and suggest implementation strategies.o Use of technologies/tools such as Java, JEE, Spring Framework, jQuery, Backbone, PostgresSQL, JMS Queue

Obtained hands on experience in application development under cutting-edge platforms such as Sun J2EE and Microsoft .NET. Also extended the working knowledge and skills previously obtained in languages such as PHP, C and Visual Basic through involvement in certain advanced projects. In addition, a broad knowledge was acquired in relation to database technologies such as MS SQL Server, MySQL and Sybase.
