I am primarily accountable for devising long term budget plans for next 3 year based on the projection from the OEM, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Isuzu; developing Sales plan, Inventory Plan, Production plan and Purchase plan for the 3 years based on the OEM projection. Based on the business requirement I develop new vendor network and manage existing vendor network for procurement at best possible rates. To ensure Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery of material I perform vendor/ supplier audit on half yearly basis; conduct monthly evaluation of Supplier performance and communicate the scores for improvement. On regular basis I follow-up with the customer for obtaining monthly order and forecast for next 2 Months. I am involved in capacity planning and generating plan for the outsourcing supplier; overseeing logistic operations for all inbound and outbound materials, coordinating & integrating product flow. Also I am responsible for managing customer relationship and providing the exact status of orders on day-to-day basis; developing IT enablement of supply chain processes to improve planning and execution efficiency and scalability. Apart from this I am serving as Account Manager for the Japanese OEM Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Isuzu; assisting Japanese Management based in India for development of new technologies & products as per market trend. Effective trainer - with honed skills in design & implementation of training programs imbibing customer focus. Additionally I am responsible for new business development, negotiation, business strategy, supply chain management, business development and product costing. I have been instrumental in 30 lac Muda Inventory reduction; 95 % on time delivery of material as per the Customer order; 90 %+ Inventory accuracy at warehouses and Raw material Stock. Also I have implemented Toyota Production System 5S, JIT, Kanban System, Heijunka, Jidoka.

During my tenure I was primarily responsible for the procurement for Raw material and consumable items; defining procedure and checks, negotiating for the best prices, ensuring cost reduction; devising long term plans & multi-seasonal Production Plans both Macro as well as Micro level; following up the activities at all the levels; resolving the cross-functional issues. I consistently worked towards optimizing production levels for ascertaining timely availability of despatch able goods to warehouse. Also I was involved in preparedness planning, flow and buffer meeting for all plans and work order; assessing and evaluating the job worker for the decisions for sourcing based on capacity and delivery time; ensuring inventory control of raw material & finished goods, also administering WIP of all departments, inventory auditing. Apart from this I was handling cost rationalization initiatives in the area of wastages, manpower utilization, optimum utilization of raw material, power saving, etc.; ascertaining proper warehouse management of materials in terms and space and flow of material. I liaised with external vendors, suppliers and customers; customers relation management. I hold the merit of implementing MTA for the 40 Product that resulted in sales improvement; implemented DBR & Buffer Management in operation which resulted 90 % on time delivery of material as per the Customer order; lead time reduction by 10 days.

I performed Industrial Engg. activities pertaining to Manpower Allocation, Layout Preparation in project works of various divisions of Raymond like Raymond Denim, Rainbow Weavers Ltd., etc. I was instrumental in executing Theory of Constraints & SAP; Kaizen, Autonomous Maintenance and Problem Solving Tools; Quality Circle concepts and developed the system for SCM working; Various cost initiative projects with Anderson consulting. I hold the merit of conceptualizing the design of brass stamping fixture which has resulted in increased productivity level by 10%; establishing, executing, maintaining and improving ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001; exploring implementation of GOTS; implementing changes in layout which resulted in smooth flow of the material in Spinning, Weaving & Folding and Warehouse Department. Also I was accountable for Lead Time Reduction: Reduced lead time for fabric delivery from 90 days to 50 days; WIP Reduction: Reduced the WIP by 20 % through TOC techniques of Choke the release and Drum Buffer Rope; OTIF Improvement: Improved on time delivery performance from 70 % to 90 % in span on 3 years by implementation of TOC; application of Industrial Engg. Study resulted reduction in Manpower in Denim. Apart from this I rendered training shop floor employees on Work Practices, Technical Issues and Data Analysis, Skills, Analysis and interpretation of various process control and quality control data for establishment of correlation between processes, defects and products quality; worked with Anderson consulting in various areas like wastages and utilities.
