👋 Hey, I'm Manon & I'm passionate about making slow travel more accessible. I believe that slow travels are a strong force for change. They enable new opportunities to create positive social links between urban and rural areas, support locally-run businesses and communities, and enable climate-neutral travels.⛺ In 2020, we set up Welcome To My Garden (https://welcometomygarden.org/), a not-for-profit network of citizens offering overnight camping spots in their garden to slow travellers. After having launched the initiative during the first lockdown in 2020, the platform already counts more 6.500 gardens. And we're just getting started! It's fantastic to see that there are more and more gardens popping up across Europe.🎥 I've always been interested by what it meant to a woman cycling in different countries around the world so when I left to cycle from Brussels to Tokyo in 2019, I took a camera with me and met other women cyclists along the way. Women Don't Cycle is an independant film about their stories.
