Actually PhD graduate. I worked, like PhD student at IRCAN (Institute for Research on Cancer and Aging, Nice) in Dr Gilles Pagès Team, under the supervision of Dr Sonia Martial. I worked on new targeted therapeutics strategy development against paediatric medulloblastomas. For that, I studied different signaling pathways involved in angiogenesis and lymphangiogenesis (ELR+CXCL/CXCR and VEGFC/VEGFR). These pathways play an important role in metastasis development in cancers. Finally, I showed that VEGFC seems to be negatively regulate the growth and aggressiveness in different models of medulloblastomas; and targeting ELR+CXCL/CXCR pathways (correlated with bad prognosis in patients) with an inhibitor is very efficient on in vitro and ex vivo models.
