Reporting directly to the Head of Planning and Inventory, responsible for developing effective inventory plans to deliver the company’s sales and margin targets within Open To Buy targets. Leading a team of 4 Inventory officers. I work closely with Merchandise Planning, Buying and the Store Operations teams to ensure delivery of inventory plans to support sales. - Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that they remain within set parameters at all times. - Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory to meet sales forecasts and customer demands - Developing plans for maintaining inventory levels to support replenishment and promotional sales models - Developing service level reporting to evaluate Suppliers DIFOT compliance - Reviewing orders and delivery schedules to ensure that they meet delivery requirements within the air and rail network - Developing policies and procedures for inventory management processes, including how to handle damaged goods, expired items or end of life/discontinued products - Communicating with suppliers on pricing accuracy or order status updates - Recommending improvements to inventory management systems and processes - Train and supervise inventory officers in the maintenance of inventory and the inventory database. - Present reports in Weekly Trade meetings on inventory levels, overdue orders and risks - Ensure inventory management is in line with strategic direction of WHSmith Australia.

Reports to the Logistics and Supply Chain Director and tasked with driving process improvements to increase efficiency and capability in warehousing operations and IT systems. Tasked with supporting the business through a significant change to rebuild the systems framework that services the marketing, forecasting and sales administration of the Travel Retail Dior Channel.• Project managed the rollout of a new web-based application for integration into the Travel Retail Dior worldwide website, that will provide demand planning and forecasting connectivity to each department.• Defined the technical and functional specifications of over 4000 instances, conducted pseudocode reviews, assisted with database architecture, defined SAP interfaces, and coordinated all phases of testing and development. Led the end-user training for all key users on forecasting, commercial sales, and marketing modules.

Reported to the Supply chain manager and tasked with creating a supply chain maturity matrix that would allow the business to correctly code and manage a large inventory for national based contracts.• Identified changes to and improved the TAT (Turn Around Time) of the maintenance and repair supply chain: implementation of the anticipated kitting (average reduction of 5 to 10 days).• Reduced the ordering of fuel and hydrogen-based units by more than 50% through the introduction of changes to allow for the reuse of pistons being re-sent and restocked in the inventory control.• Built a supply chain maturity matrix in order to evaluate all maintenance/repair sites and work closely with the Head of sub-department Supply Chain MRO to implement changes.
