I’m incredibly committed to solving the single-use plastic problem, by designing ethically sourced and sustainably produced straws made from agricultural waste: Plants Over Plastic. 🌱🥤Since launching, myself and my team have sold over 25M straws, that’s 25 million plastic straws prevented from polluting our oceans and landfills! 💪The journey started on Amazon selling reusable bamboo straws 3 years ago. (Before reusables were considered trendy!) That quickly pivoted when the plastic ban came into place. Working in the fashion industry, I introduced to the market an innovative & home compostable disposable straw made entirely from the by-product of wheat and sugarcane pulp. Both waste materials used to make hats and bags!Little Green Panda proudly supply’s 1000+ venues across Australia with an international expansion in sight and new products on the horizon. 🚀Selected into the 2020 cohort for Sprout X's Accelerator Program and Swinburne's Innovation Precinct Accelerator Program.With a background in Communication Design and a history of working in the marketing and advertising industry. I’ve worked closely with international brands such as Zara & Target US to name a few.
