Hollands Wol Collectief aims to setup a new future circular supply chain for the use of Dutch Sheep wool, by facilitating the missing steps of collecting, sorting, transporting, washing, and felting the wool on an industrial scale, and setting up long term cooperations with buyers: currently mainly producers of interior products. I am, a.o. involved in a research project concerning fiber quality and optimizing the working process of sheering and sorting the wool to match the best application.

Healthcare consultancy agency for high care departments in hospitals. Bridging between users and designing parties (architects, installers etc.) by generating future work processes, requirements and concepts and supporting the process from vision till realization and training of users in the new environment.

Human Factors consultancy and design agency for complex working environments. Main focus on acquisition and projects in healthcare, concerning renovation and construction and other housing issues (e.g. process optimization, functional requirements, design and mock-ups of a.o. Central Scopes Disinfection and Central Sterilization Department, Clinical Chemical Laboratories) design of specific workplaces (e.g. outpatient desks, workshops clinical physics and medical technology, ICU and first aid treatment rooms) and physical workload assessment, solutions and training (a.o. blood collection department, dental surgery, echocardio, endoscopy, central sterilization department). Extensive experience in the domain of distant bridge operation (training, design of user interface, control desks, camera plans, control rooms), correctional facilities (working processes, camera surveillance, design of secured posts) and industry, involved in a perennial EU funded research project on airplane comfort.

Improving curriculum information for potential international students and developing a system for quality assurance of examination by the board of examiners at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.

Collaboration with the Human Factors and Ergonomics lab at Zodiac Seats U.S. for the embodiment, prototyping and testing of a headrest design enabling sideward leaning and seclusion on long-haul economy flights. Patented. Exhibited at Mind the Step, Dutch Design Week 2015, and Aircraft Interiors Expo 2016 in Hamburg. Crystal Cabin Award 2016 winner in the university category.

Working for the department of Quility Assurance at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. My function comprised consultation with course coordinators about, set-up and distribution of written or oral evaluations of master courses according to the yearly quality management plan of action.

Membership (Vice president from 2011-2012) of the Education Committee of IDE. Together with 4 other students and 5 teachers we formed an advisory body towards the Board of Education and the department of Education and Student Affairs. Main concern is the formulation and enforcement of the teaching and examination regulations.

The Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) decides whether or not a programme is accredited. QANU is one of the organizations that can be commissioned by universities to conduct a programme assessment. The panel interviewed a range of groups, including management, lecturers, students, the board of studies and the board of examiners. I was appointed by the faculty as a student representative to visit Industrial Design at Twente University.

Fabrique Public Design designs products for people, in their private setting or on the go. Consumer products and products for public space. Realistic and timeless products, in which the optimal balance between design, manufacturability and cost price are the points of focus. My tasks included among others conceptualization, embodiment, rendering, visualization and maintaining contact with clients or manufacturers.

A year of being a fulltime member of the 7-headed board of Study Association i.d, an association with 2700 members and 28 committees. Main goal is to look after IDE students' interests by organising social and study broadening activities (entirely organised by and for students). My function comprised representing the students in several educational counsels (a.o. workgroup binding study advice and decentralized selection) and handling complaints.
