About Manos Chatzopoulos

I am a computational astrophysicist specializing in supercomputer simulations of supernovae and massive stellar evolution. I am currently an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University working on a variety of research projects in collaboration with local and external scientists. I received my PhD and MA in Astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin. I enjoy data analysis and post-processing, quantitative research and programming. I thoroughly enjoy applying my problem solving and critical thinking skills in quantitative/financial analysis, due-diligence studies and entrepreneurial ideas.I am also the co-founder and CEO of ParkZen LLC (www.parkzenapp.com), a smartphone app service that utilizes data analysis algorithms to enable communities of drivers locate faster free curbside parking by showing real-time information on where other users leave free spots.
