BirdLife International is the biggest international partnership for nature conservation, working to conserve birds, their habitats and global biodiversity, and to promote sustainability in the use of natural resources. Based in Cambridge, UK, it is a part of the Cambridge Conservation Initiative, hosted by the University of Cambridge. My work essentially entails supporting the coordination of BirdLife's energy policy agenda focussed on a nature-safe transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, by mainstreaming BirdLife's priorities of biodiversity policy safeguards.

Supported by the Swiss-European Mobility Programme (SEMP), I worked at the Directorate of Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Industrial Development, under the Division of Circular Economy and Environmental Protection, by analysing the assistance provided by UNIDO in fulfilling the Kigali Amendment of the Montreal Protocol schedule in phasing out Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) in developing countries.

Working under CHURS and CECCSD, I wrote event reports, edited articles, published articles on the official website, and helped with the centre's other work. The Center for Regional Research and Sustainability Studies (CRRSS) is a multidisciplinary international student-run thinktank that undertakes conceptual, empirical and applied research with a motive to improve understanding of scientific and humanities-oriented issues and challenges. Recipient of the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship (SYLFF - https://www.sylff.org/) at Jadavpur University, where I conducted independent research on MGNREGA, issues of women employment, and social security nets in India. I also collected data through self-designed questionnaires, surveys and focused group discussions by conducting fieldwork in the rural areas of Jharkhand.

Through its flagship program, Green Rhinos, it creates youth nature leaders through a transformational leadership process throughout India.
