• Management of complete Accounting Cycle for clients including AR, AP, monthly bank reconciliations, complete balance sheet reconciliations, yearend GST/HST fillings and reporting• Performance of all aspects of bookkeeping, payroll and HR administration• Preparation of T4’s and ROE’s • Expenses and monthly / quarterly financial reporting and analysis with the clients.• Liaise with government agencies like CRA, Revenue Quebec, on issues relating to payroll taxes, corporate tax and Sales tax and meeting their respective deadlines• Liaise with external tax accountant & Auditors• Managing sales tax audit, as required• Management of vendor and client relationships for clients• Management of a portfolio of clients as well as assistance in on-boarding new clients /conversion of new clients into Xero.• Investigation and resolution of issues & strategic decision-making.• Management of systems used for client portfolio (Xero cloud based accounting software, QBO, Receipt bank, Hub Doc, Stripe, Payment Evolution and Wage Point for payrolls)• Oversight, review and training of junior staff members

• Selling / Up – Selling of banking products to business clients and prospective customers • Ensuring best Customer Experience.• Strategizing & implementing ways to achieve & exceed sales target.• Provided training to new employees and conducting project meetings• Responsible for controlling operations, efficiency, employee motivation, team synergy and discipline• Sent daily status reports to Manager highlighting team productivity and critical updates

• Full Accounting Cycle Management• Preparation of Financial Statements and Management reports.• Assistance in Corporate tax filling.• Monitoring the attainment of various performance goals / metrics, assuring the existence of appropriate controls at each step and searching for new opportunities.• Supervision of Clerical staff • Other duties as required by the role.
