In this role, I lead and manage a team of 10 staff members across different areas of a busy hotel, including the kitchen, gaming, bistro and TAB areas. This is a high-pressure role, and I frequently liaise with hotel guests, suppliers, hotel management and contractors to ensure that the highest quality of standards and service is maintained. I also undertake a range of administrative task, including HR, updating records and databases and completing regulatory paperwork in accordance with sale and supply of alcoholic beverages and gaming machines. I regularly audit and inspect the premises to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks, and provide training and professional development to staff on hospitality, customer service and professionalism in the workplace. My achievements in this role including successfully completing an entire audit of liquor ordering and stock control processes of the hotel to reduce stock losses through excessive wastage, resulting in lower costs to the business and increased profits. I also was responsible for implementing processes and procedures to increase the overall compliance rate of the hotel

In this role, I completed customer service, cashier and stock control duties at a busy service station. My duties included working with suppliers to ensure the station was appropriately stocked, and receiving goods deliveries and unloading supply pallets in a safe and effective manner. In this role I frequently met all my key performance indicators including sales standards, and worked with the store manager to ensure that the store was meeting organisational standards for hygiene, quality and sales.
