Through actively engaging with traditional donors and with potential new donors, I and my team maintained the operation's basic funding level in a difficult environment marked by increasing donor fatigue and a rapidly deteriorating security situation. Within the UN Communication Group, I contributed to efforts aiming at 'UN communicating as one' and contributed to establishing a communication strategy for the UN Country Team.
