•Led a 20 member team responsible for Shemaroo’s Digital Media initiative, tasked with repurposing and monetizing Shermaroo’s vast media library across new digital distribution channels; created over 100K pieces of streaming content leveraging the library that included over 2,500 feature films and 10,000 pieces of short form material including kids, devotional, health and lifestyle content. •Built and managed Shemaroo’s YouTube business which has created an engaged base of over 15 million subscribers and delivers over 750 mm monthly views. Created multiple properties including “FilmiGaane” (retro songs, ranked #11 in India), “15min Movies” (films edited/condensed for rapid consumption), “Indian Comedy”and “BhaktiSongs”(devotional music). Leveraged YouTube tools and analytics to organically build subscribers, engagement, virality and develop content creation and deployment plans.•Created a social media strategy for key Shemaroo brands with the goal of making “Shemaroo” and “FilmiGaane” authentic destinations for classic bollywood films &music. Recruited key hires that built out the operating team.

Responsible for a broad range of operational roles with a focus on coordinating with the production design team to deliver outcomes aligned with the Director’s vision.

•Part of a 5 member founding team that introduced the concept of media ‘auditing’ to the Indian market. •Responsible for a variety of roles within the organization which included contributing to the design and development of in-house software, business development and helping customers appreciate the value proposition of the media auditing product suite and working on specific deliverables for clients.

Worked closely with marketing teams of large B2C business including Asian Paints, Cadburys, Phillips and Pillsbury. Contributed to the broader media strategy and subsequently assisted with media purchasing.
