As an Associate Accountant at Veritas, I managed the reconciliation of over 50 bank accounts, collaborating with accounts payable, tax, and payroll teams to address open items and post manual journal entries using Excel and Oracle. I used Kyriba to obtain weekly Cashflow reports, and after verification, these files were uploaded into Oracle for journal posting. I prepared Preliminary Payment Reports (PPR) for Direct Debits across EMEA and APJ regions, and I also trained new hires on Cash Management processes. Additionally, I oversaw the Funding Log for intercompany transactions, resolved discrepancies, and coordinated with Treasury for necessary adjustments.My role included preparing accrual journals, performing bank reconciliations, and handling FX entries for month-end close. I downloaded bank statements from Citi and CashPro for running macros during month-end to prepare bank reconciliations for submission in Cadency.I managed month-end credit card accrual journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies by collaborating with the Accounts Receivable team. I liaised with revenue teams to gather and verify details related to fees, ensuring comprehensive and accurate financial reporting.I also reached out to Grant Thornton and FBK teams to obtain reports for Turkey, Russia, and Israel, reviewing and preparing WebADI journals for these entities due to language barriers.Additionally, I supported quarterly and annual audits, including Saudi audits, using OBIEE for data extraction and preparation.As a backup for the Intercompany team, I handled GL activity, prepared cross charges in Virtual Trader, and maintained the ICO matrix. I managed manual journals for intercompany loans, withholding tax, interest, and revolver accounts, prepared Winning Our Way and Funding Log files for upload in Virtual Trader for automated accounting, and prepared month-end reconciliations.

In my role, I assisted vendors with their registration on UniPort, UMG's (Universal Music Group) payment portal, and provided comprehensive support with payment inquiries, invoice submissions, and related issues. I was responsible for identifying invoice discrepancies, communicating rejection reasons to vendors, and facilitating the correction and resubmission process to ensure timely payments. I also collaborated closely with the Payments Desk to expedite payment releases and handle ad-hoc processing in the event of errors.Additionally, I managed the collection and maintenance of essential vendor documents, including tax forms, bank details, and sample invoices, to streamline the onboarding process. I provided hands-on support to business users through Zoom calls for processing vendor payments and set up projects in SAP based on Project Request forms from various departments. By liaising with leadership, I addressed critical vendor issues to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Executed a social media marketing campaign for Macmerise (a Coca-Cola brand) using Instagram and other platforms. The campaign encouraged users to share photos and tag Macmerise, leading to over 100 registrations and increased engagement.
