Over the two decades, I have managed and delivered projects in urban & regional transportation and land use planning, community development, urban renewal, smart cities, and sustainable development across multiple geographies. A result-oriented team player with proven communication & organizational skills, I have managed multi-disciplinary teams of planners, engineers & architects to see projects from inception through implementation to delivery. As a certified Public Participation Practitioner, I have conducted several public meetings, community, and client workshops. My international project experience includes assignments in USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and in India. As a sessional lecturer, I have developed and delivered masters level courses in urban and regional planning and urban anthropology. In my recent role at UN-Habitat I have successfully guided teams in developing spatially strategic and sustainable development plans, with emphasis on green-growth and climate resilience. At present, I am co-developing the urban flood management programme at the World Bank to bolster its assistance to national and sub-national partners.
