Assist Engineering Department in the in the review of submittals including contractor design drawings, materials and alternative proposals submitted by contractors. Participates in planning, designing, and reviewing plans for erection of structures requiring stress analysis. Participate in the investigation and survey of construction sites to determine the suitability of the earth for the requirements of the upcoming project. Inspect the ongoing constructions and ensure that projects meet legal guidelines, environmental directives, and health and safety requirements. Supervise and remain vigilant regarding all aspects of the design changes on the field during construction. Provide progress reports to reporting Line Manager. Attend progress meetings and work on solving any design and site related issues.
