• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, quality assurance, safety testing, operational and technical support duties for assigned medical and supportive equipment • Perform incoming inspection for verification of equipment specifications and safety on new equipment prior to use. • Communicate regularly with internal / external customers and is required to assure successful resolution of equipment related problems. • Request repair parts and special equipment as needed; orders specific parts to maintain proper inventory levels. • Provide needed support for equipment projects such as planning, coordination, site preparation, installation, training or evaluations. • Provide technical advice regarding the procurement and installation of biomedical equipment. • Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work area at all times. • Interface with departmental IT systems as required. Maintain equipment information and inventory in equipment database • Maintain documentation in accordance with department policy. Submit monthly progress reports as required. • Ensure local and international regulatory, guidance and safety requirements and standards are followed and maintained.• Participate in ongoing technical training for medical and supportive equipment • Assume delegated responsibilities. • Participate in department rotation providing 24 hours on–call coverage.• Act as a resource to other AHMC departments in matters related to the operation and technical support of healthcare equipment.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare technologies, participate in self and staff education and development, as applicable.

• Acting as Biomedical Workshop supervisor.• Providing Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance service to the all medical equipment in the hospitals.• Conducting training sessions and orienting the medical Staff about the medical equipment in operation and safety.• Lead the staff (2 engineers one technician).• Applying the policy and procedure of Biomedical department management and system according to the JCI, CBAHI ,ECRI, FDA, AAMI, and other international standards in (medical equipment inventory, PPM Schedule, work order schedule, contracts, equipment commissioning …etc.).

• Acting as Biomedical Workshop supervisor.• Teaching Biomedical undergraduate students the Basic of Biomedical Workshop, Biomedical workshop I, Biomedical workshop II, Medical Imaging Equipment, clinical lab equipment& Bioinstrumentation equipment.• Conducting training sessions and orienting the medical students about the new inventions in the field of medical equipment• Providing maintenance service for the university's hospitals as well as operating and instrumenting the university labs equipment.

Teaching:- Medical Equipment, Radiation Physics, Anatomy and Physiology
