I have end-to-end accountability for developing the business case, establishing the value chain and delivering successful completion of Europe's largest green hydrogen facility currently under construction. This groundbreaking project is located in the Port of Rotterdam and consists of a state-of-the-art 200MW electrolyser. Once fully operational, it will have the capability to produce 60,000 kilograms of renewable hydrogen a day.To ensure the sustainability of this facility, we are sourcing the renewable power for the electrolyser from the offshore wind farm Hollandse Kust (noord), which is jointly owned by Shell. This allows us to leverage the clean energy generated by the wind farm to power the electrolysis process efficiently.The renewable hydrogen produced at the facility will play a vital role in supplying the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rotterdam. Linked via a hydrogen pipeline stretching over 30 kilometers, it will be transported to the park, where it will offset grey hydrogen - a significant step towards reducing carbon emissions.

Summary:• Delivered several multi-billion dollar energy developments from initiation and framing to execution, start-up and production. • Built mutual trust and effectively worked with international business partners and stakeholders on joint development portfolios.• Managed several joint venture partners such as Mitsui, ExxonMobil, Eni and Repsol and key contractors and suppliers.• Recognized by industry with awards such as the Global Energy Award for Best Engineering Project.Major projects and my main responsibilities:• Mero/Libra - Deepwater, BrasilAn ultra-deepwater field ~180km offshore Rio de Janeiro. It is owned by a consortium led by Petrobras (38.6%) and includes Shell (19.3%), TotalEnergies EP Brasil (19.3%), CNODC (9.65%), CNOOC (9.65%) and Pré-sal Petróleo – PPSA (3.5%). I had end-to-end development and delivery responsibility on behalf of Shell. • Kaikias - Deepwater Gulf of Mexico, USAA major sub-sea tieback development. Shell took the final investment decision in 2017 and already by 2018, production started. I led the end-to-end development and delivery of this best-in-class development, from discovery to safe start-up and operation. • Kashagan - Shallow water, Kazakhstan Located in the north Caspian Sea and considered one of the largest discoveries in the last 30 years. I was responsible for the safe design and engineering of a ground-breaking infield pipeline system operating under extreme environmental and operational conditions. • Salym - Onshore, Russia Comprised of three fields: West Salym, Upper Salym, and Vadelyp. Located in West Siberia. I led the design and engineering of the Vadelyp field based in Siberia. • Bonga - Deepwater, NigeriaA giant floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) system located 120km off the coast of Nigeria. The FPSO is installed in water depths of over 1,000 meters. I was responsible for the subsea equipment fabrication.
