Achieving this requires thoughtful and rigorous efforts to establish Shell as a leading player in the low-carbon fuels space. Today, we produce high-quality biofuels from sustainable sources, whilst expanding current production pathways and pioneering advanced technologies for tomorrow. Partnering closely with technology innovators, governments, and customers, we’re working to support policy initiatives and foster a robust commercial ecosystem for our low carbon products.With more than 20 years in the energy space I have led multi-billion-dollar projects from framing through execution, start-up, and production. My expertise spans supply chain management, EPC delivery, and regulatory landscapes. I’ve managed joint ventures with partners like Mitsui, ExxonMobil, Eni, and Repsol and earned awards, including the Global Energy Award for Best Engineering Project. In my previous role, I was accountable for Holland Hydrogen 1, Europe's largest green hydrogen facility, securing green electricity, building a 200MW electrolyser, and supplying green hydrogen to Shell’s Energy and Chemicals Park in Rotterdam.Having a multicultural background, hailing from the Middle East and growing up in Germany and the US, I understand the important role energy can have on society, and I am passionate about driving this positive impact and shaping a sustainable future through Shell’s low-carbon ambitions.
