I am a professional that combines experience in international trade, project management and market intelligence. Currently I am working in a business research industry, where I lead and develop several research products including market intelligence, due diligence, benchmark and target screening. Prior to Atheneum, I worked five years for one of the largest state-owned foreign trade company in Uzbekistan. During my career with Uzmarkaimpex I acquired diversified experience in physical commodity trading, market intelligence, business development and contract administration. I started from administration of cotton export contracts and later got more responsibility for export and import contracts for various products, including cotton, wheat, soybeans, copper, textile goods, chemical fertilizers, construction materials and equipment. With a progression in the company, I got engaged in green-field investment projects as a procurement manager and later as an external controller. I was a member of a working group responsible for monitoring the investment projects and provision advises to the Board . The project portfolio included sewing factory, dairy farm and intensive gardening. This versatile background helped me to acquire a set of skills related to business development, operation management, market research and contract administration. I am experienced in dispute resolution and conflict management. Participated in management decision-making process, strategic negotiations and settlement of commercial disputes. Represented interests of Uzmarkazimpex in a number of business trips to China, Russia, Israel, Brazil, UAE, Vietnam and Turkmenistan.
