CurrentDesign and development of mapping and GIS software solutions for products related with cartography, SDIs, location based services, telematics, and environmental management. Software solutions design and implementation involving mobile platforms, web/desktop GIS systems, spatially enabled databases. Incorporating OGC software and standards to existing systems to cover a diverse spread of customer needs.Product manager of the “Call & Nav” product, a dispatching system for call centers that schedule deliveries to rover vehicles (eg Taxis, Couriers, Road assistance services, etc). The system comprises of a central mapping facility accessed by operators’ terminals and rover PDA/PNAs wirelessly connected over GPRS (2009 - Present).Application of Remote Sensing controls for the application of the simplified payment plan based on area, within the framework of the Integrated System of Management and Control, conducted for the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation (2008 - 2009).Project “Geo-Graphontas”, regarding educational Geography software for secondary education based on interactive maps and three-dimensional representations (2007 - 2008).Development of a system for map navigation in archaeological sites and the presentation of monuments, conducted for Erevnites S.A. publications (Greek Ministry of culture, 2006)Project “Track & Trade”, regarding the creation of value added service based on floating car data gathered from as many data suppliers as possible (a floating car data mart). Project co-funded by the EC (CRAFT) (2006). Project “Atthides”, conducted for Conceptum S.A. and Exodus S.A., regarding the development of an educational software platform for exploratory learning (2005 - 2006).Project “Greek Matrix” regarding the development of the “Cruiser” platform (www.cruiser.eu) for supporting innovative internet-based services that make use of geographic space and cartographic data. Project co-funded by GSRT (2004 - 2005) .
