I have 15+ years of experience in multifamily real estate financing with a proven track record in areas of transaction underwriting, structuring, risk assessment and credit investigation. I love working with our clients and many business partners on successful transactions. I am passionate about providing effective financing solutions to the affordable housing industry including Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments. I focus on excellent due diligence, quality credit decision making, real estate benchmark analyses, combined with efficient operations and transaction execution. I have tackled transactions nationwide covering affordable housing, market rate housing, and senior housing – including Section 42/LIHTC (4% tax exempt bond transactions), Section 8, 202, RAD and other affordable programs. I have experience in Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and all of HUD's insured programs including 221(d)(4) New Construction and Sub Rehab, HUD 223(f) purchase/refinance and HUD 202/223(f) as well as 232 Lean (residential care facilities/seniors housing). I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate from the University of St. Thomas and have continued my education by attending numerous HUD counsel conferences, commercial real estate seminars and multifamily industry events. In 2016 I was selected to participate in the Mortgage Bankers Association Commercial/Multifamily Future Leaders program, and am involved with the MBA's multifamily sub-committees. I have been a member of Minnesota Commercial Real Estate Women since 2005, and served as co-chair of the finance committee (2008-09) and currently co-chair the Member Engagement committee (2018-19). I enjoy many outdoor activities, volunteering in my neighborhood, and serving as a volunteer election judge.
